Trimac's are rarely found as an aquarium fish. Trimacs are an aggressive cichlid, and will not tolerate other tankmates easily. It may be possible to keep this fish as part of a large robust cichlid community if enough tank space is provided. Ideal water temperature is between 24 - 30c.
